Camp Mail and Phone Calls

You may save postage or shipping fees and leave letters or (ONE shoebox-sized) care package at the registration desk at check-in. Please read more on our FAQ page.

If you prefer to mail letters or a care package: Mail delivery will be facilitated by addressing your mail as follows: Name of camper, c/o Camp Spalding, 8513 Hwy 211, Newport, WA 99156. Please write the name of the camp session (for example: Discovery I, Jr. High II, etc.) in the lower left hand corner of the envelope or package. Mail and parcels should be post-marked no later than three days prior to the last full day of camp to ensure timely arrival. Parcels: We highly recommend you send it UPS (U.S. Mail and FedEx leave packages out at the highway if we’re lucky. And some days there is too much to fit in the U.S. Mail carrier’s car and he/she won’t deliver it at all. Don’t get us started…). Do NOT require a signature for delivery.

Phone calls from parents to campers are discouraged (our experience is that it increases homesickness), and campers will not be allowed to make phone calls during the week.

We will, of course, take emergency messages at (509) 447-4388 x. 1
