Spending money— During their week, campers can visit the Snack Shack (candy/soda), Beach Pavilion (Shave Ice) and Trading Post (teen camps only. Coffee bar and gift store). Spending money must be deposited in advance for all camps, including Jr High & Sr High Camps. You may deposit store money during online registration (preferred) or during check-in the first day of camp (we no longer take cash for camper purchases during the week). Camp Spalding is not responsible for camper money that was not turned-in.

Store money works on a debit system: Deposit your camper’s store money now, and he or she will draw from that amount during camp. Any unspent funds will be returned to the credit card on which the camper reservation was made at the conclusion of your camper’s session. The Trading Post (t-shirts, water bottles, etc.) will also be open for cash/credit card purchases (separate  from what you deposit online) during camper drop-off and pick-up for all camps.

Discovery Camp (Entering grades 2-4; half-week camp)
Suggested Amount: Up to $15

Snack Shack and Beach Pavilion open both afternoons of the half-week camp. $12 allows for some candy/soda or Shave Ice each day, and string for a bracelet ($3), if desired. Campers are limited to 3 candies/sodas (50¢ – $3), or Shave Ice ($3 – $6) per day.

Junior Camp (Entering grades 5-6; full-week camp)
Suggested Amount: $18 – $30

Snack Shack and Beach Pavilion open five afternoons. $18 allows for some candy/soda or Shave Ice each day, with higher amount allows for snacks each day, plus string for a bracelet ($3) and for tie-dye t-shirt ($6), if desired. Campers are limited to 3 candies/sodas (50¢ – $3), or Shave Ice ($3 – $6) per day.

Jr. High, Sr. High & Leadership Camps (Entering grades 9-12; Lead Camp entering grades 10-12; full-week camps).
Suggested Amount: $35 – $100

Snack Shack, Beach Pavilion & Trading Post open five afternoons. $30 allows for daily candy/soda &/or coffee/blended drinks and/or Shave Ice; up to $100 if adding some combo of a sweatshirt, blanket, t-shirt, water bottle, etc. Coffee & frozen drinks are from $3 – $6 each; candy & soda from 50¢ – $3 each; Shave Ice ($3 – $6); T-Shirts (on-site purchase) $18 – $25; also sweatshirts, blankets, water bottles, etc. (can also be purchased with cash at drop-off and pick-up).
